If the shoe fits…

I’ve been on the hunt for that perfect black flat and although the quilted black Chanel’s were screaming my name I knew I should refrain since I simply abuse my flats time and time again.  In a mad rush to find something….anything…. before a string of work travel and endless airports I saw these little lovelies in the adorable J.Crew window display and within seconds they were on/off my feet and on the counter for purchase.  They were given a full test run as I had 15 minutes to change planes in the Charlotte airport last week and ladies…they are amazingly comfortable, promise!

On the run for work travel to South Carolina, New Jersey, Cape Cod, Palm Springs, Hawaii, Orlando, Alabama, Tennessee, and Missouri in the next couple of weeks so hopefully the shoes last and I’ll share inspiration from my travels as I go.

Happy Wednesday!

New Project Report…

I’m am over the moon excited to share the news that Jennifer Hardy Interiors will be designing the new Bluewater Grill in Avalon, CA along with fellow designer Elizabeth Cb Marsh who is teaming up with jHi for this project.  The Avalon, CA location, located on the beautiful Catalina Island, will be Bluewater’s 5th location.  Each of the existing locations has it’s own vibe and we promise not to disappoint with this new location.

In case you’re not familiar with Bluewater Grill, take a peak at their menu www.bluewatergrill.com and be prepared to drool.  I’ve also included a few snapshots of their existing locations, and will keep you up to date with photos as the project progresses.

Equestrian Style…

It’s here to stay people.  Not that equestrian style is new to the fashion or home design scenes, but rather than only those classics like Ralph Lauren and Gucci perenially churning out the much loved designs other designers are catching on and catching up.  Many mainstream, and budget friendly options are popping up too!  We all saw this coming with riding boots, you know you own at least one pair and have your eye on another…

There’s a new equestrian detail in town, the horsebit and it’s everywhere.
