NYFW Day 4

Please forgive us, we took Day 3 off, and our feet are thanking us!

Many of my views looked like this on Day 4, so you’ll see where we utilized professional images so you could get a better view than I had.

Lela Rose was a beautiful and intricate mix of watercolors, lace, and the black & white combo that just won’t quit.  Obviously, it’s a true classic.  One thing is for sure, whichever look you choose, you’ll feel like a lady.

I love presentations as you have the opportunity to see the design up close and personal.  Trina Turk‘s presentation was all about beachy-casual separates for both Men and Women.  The models attitudes said….’I live by the beach..what?’

Thank you for the Daft Punk and J.T. inclusive sound track DVF, so fun!  DVF’s press notes read, “Be your own oasis..an unexpected source of renewal, serenity, and beauty.”  I think Naomi Campbell rocked a bit of strong-girl vibe as well.

Another packed house for Vivienne Tam left me unable to capture photos, but it was nice to sit and really enjoy each and every look.  Her print on print looks were a nice change of pace from all of the overly mixed prints we’re seeing, and her choice of prints were clearly influenced by her Chinese heritage.
